Our week that was: in Cornwall

Glorious, glorious unspoilt Cornwall. We've just spent the week there, a quiet week I might add with it being our girls second week of their half term break, with the majority of children being back at school. Your children get two weeks? I hear you say. Yes, that's right, we are lucky, in that while this is the case (all will change when the eldest goes to high school) we can book our hols for this second week, which works out much cheaper and as its less busy, with less people, we really can make the most of what is on offer around us - no queues for the rides at Crealy (bonus), more space in the pool and more chance of winning the bingo! (admittedly, I did partake in a game or two, love it!)

Here in pictures is a look back at our delightful week...

1. The view from the dunes out to St Ives over the bay
2. Something the sea washed up
3. We discovered a cave
4. Knitting work in progress
5 and 6: a walk along the beach, of which there were many!
7: Running around the sand dunes
8: (another) beach walk
9: St Ives
10: Sunset over the sea
11: Hayle Beach, Cornwall

This week I'm linking up with Hannah at Make, Do and Push! to share my photos as part of her The week that was: Captured series #TWTWC
