This week I am linking up with Hannah at Make Do and Push to take part in The Week That Was: Instagrammed #5
End of the first week of the summer holidays and the beginning of Folk Week in Sidmouth, East Devon. On Saturday we headed down to have a look around and soak up the music, sights, smells and the atmosphere. There is such a lot to see during the course of the week; street entertainers, live music, stalls selling everything from jewellery, clothes, pottery, food and drink.
We met up with friends and their kids. The husband grew up in East Devon and has been coming down to Folk Week since he was a young 'un. Now its nice to be introducing it to the next generation for them to enjoy.
At the end of the day and on a friend's recommendation, we headed to the Fancy That Caribbean Food stall for jerk chicken, rice and peas and red cabbage coleslaw. It was GOOD. Better than good. It was the best.
